Information we collect

When you sign in, GatherPoint AI receives basic account information from your authentication provider, such as your name, profile picture, and email address. We also collect profile, event, messaging, preference, and usage information that you choose to provide while using the product.

If you create or host events, we may process event details, location preferences, registration activity, messages, media uploads, and recommendation interests so the service can operate.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, personalize event recommendations, coordinate social activity, provide account and safety features, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.

Google sign-in information is used only for authentication, account identification, and profile setup. GatherPoint AI does not sell Google user data.

Assistant conversations

When you use the GatherPoint AI Assistant, your assistant conversations, messages, generated drafts, and related diagnostic metadata may be stored so the Assistant can provide conversation history, recover in-progress runs, and support event planning features.

Authorized GatherPoint AI personnel may review relevant assistant conversations and diagnostic information for support, troubleshooting, safety, security, service reliability, and feature improvement. Access is limited to authorized personnel and internal developer tools.

If you provide a conversation ID to support or a developer, authorized personnel may use that ID to locate the relevant assistant conversation and help investigate the issue.

Service providers

We use trusted service providers for authentication, hosting, databases, storage, analytics, email, and AI-assisted product features. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to GatherPoint AI.

Data choices

You can manage account information inside the product where controls are available. You may also contact support@gatherpoint.ai to request help accessing, correcting, or deleting account data.

You can revoke Google sign-in access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user data. We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
